Throughout the past two days police took advantage of the mild weather, which provided favourable search conditions for the Barrie Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police, in the search for Mandy Thompson.
The investigation into her disappearance is ongoing and continues to be treated as a missing person’s investigation. Police will resume any search efforts utilizing the required resources as new information becomes available. Assigned investigators with the Barrie Police Investigative Services Unit will continue to follow up with any further tips they receive.
