The search for Mandy Thompson will resume Wednesday morning throughout the Oro-Medonte Township area, east of Penetanguishene Road. Search teams comprised of Canine, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle’s (drones) and the Ontario Provincial Police helicopter will continue to be utilized.
Mild weather conditions have resulted in rapid melting of ice and snow, leaving search efforts favourable. Investigators are requesting anyone living in the Oro-Medonte Township area east of Penetanguishene Road to thoroughly check their properties including barns, sheds, vehicles, garages and any receptacles on their properties.
