Barrie Police and the OPP have called off search efforts for the day due to inclement weather and limited daylight.
The joint search effort will resume Wednesday morning in the northeast end of Barrie and beyond the city limits into Oro-Medonte Township.
Police have set up a tip line at (705) 725-7025 ext. 2160 for anyone who may have information on Mandy Thompson.

Police continue to request that anyone living in the area being searched to thoroughly check their properties including barns, sheds, vehicles and garages for any possible sightings of Mandy.
The family of the missing Barrie senior stopped by the Barrie Police-OPP mobile command centres Tuesday on the outskirts of Barrie for the latest information on stepped-up search efforts.
The hunt for any sign of 72-year-old Thompson intensified and expanded with the addition of OPP resources.
Barrie Police Const. Sarah Bamford spoke with Thompson's husband, children and granddaughter amidst more than a dozen police vehicles in the Calvary Community Church parking lot.
"They've come for an update. The family has been out driving around just checking locations that they may have visited in the past or anything that may have been familiar to Mandy," Bamford said.
"The family is very appreciative of all the resources that have come together for this search. They also want to thank the community for their active involvement and for the best wishes they've been receiving as well."
It is now a joint Barrie Police-OPP investigation as the search has expanded beyond Barrie's borders.
Police obtained security camera video from a business of a woman believed to be Thompson walking on Penetanguishene Road near Georgian College Drive at 10 a.m. Friday.
Thompson, who has dementia, was reported missing from her Laidlaw Drive home at 7:30 a.m. that morning.
"We've combined our resources," said Bamford. "We're utilizing the OPP helicopter as well as snowmobiles. We're going to continue using our UAV's, our Search and Rescue Teams as well as our Canine Units."
The search will continue east of Penetanguishene Road and surrounding areas of Oro-Medonte Township.
Police say Mandy has the ability to travel significant distances in a short period of time.
The search area in Oro-Medonte is about nine kilometres from her home.
