Porter Airlines has announced another flight extension until Nov. 12 due to COVID-19.
In a statement issued today, Porter said it is waiving charge and cancellation fees on all fares booked between today and Nov. 12.
The airline previously planned for an Oct. 7 resumption of services. Porter first cancelled flights on March 21 as COVID-19 cases surged in Ontario.
While the Canadian government has implemented travel restrictions on land crossings for leisure travel, passengers can still enter and leave the country by air.
However, the federal government is still advising that non-essential travel outside of Canada be avoided due to COVID-19.
