Innisfil woman charged in November fatal crash investigation

INNISFIL - On Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, police charged a 68-year-old Innisfil woman with disobey stop sign - fail to Stop following a fatal collision in Innisfil. She will appear in court in March.

On Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 around 6 p.m., South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to the intersection of 14th Line and 10th Sideroad for a two-vehicle collision that involved a vehicle rollover. Four people were transported to a local hospital. Two were subsequently airlifted to Toronto hospitals and the others were treated locally and released. A 77-year-old Innisfil man later died in hospital as a result of injuries suffered in the collision.
