Lakeshore Drive will be closed between Simcoe Street and Minet’s Point Road next weekend for the Barrie Waterfront Triathlon.
MultiSport Canada and its sub-contractors require a full road closure on Saturday, Aug. 12 and Sunday, Aug. 13 from 6:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. to host the event.
Organizers say police will be at each intersection and no through traffic will be allowed.
Detour in effect: Hurst Drive – Minet’s Point Road – Yonge Street – Burton Ave – Essa Road – Bradford Street – Simcoe Street.
