This spring, a new innovative community-based sexual health services clinic is opening in Barrie.
With sexual health traditionally being overlooked when it comes to physical and emotional well-being, we are closing that gap. The InclusHIV Care Clinic initiative developed by the Gilbert Centre, and the first of its kind in Central Ontario.
It brings into focus the first strategic direction outlined in their 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, which is to strengthen their organizational positioning by offering broader regional health and community services.
The clinic will act as an essential hub supporting our diverse and continuously evolving sexual health landscape. We will be providing a range of health care services in a professional, discreet and approachable setting – led by two doctors and their support team.
Starting April 21, 2021, the clinic will offer appointment times available on Wednesdays between 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Fridays between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
