The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes on Victoria Day:
Curbside waste collection and waste drop-off facilities
- Waste collection is ongoing on Victoria Day as there is no change to the county’s waste collection schedule.
- All county waste drop-off facilities are closed on Monday, May 20.
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Monday, May 20 (with the exception of Route 4).
- Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, May 20.
- Return to regularly scheduled services for all routes on Tuesday, May 21.
- Please visit nextlinx.simcoe.ca to check all route schedules.
County administration centre (Midhurst)
- The administration centre, including the Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on Monday, May 20.
Ontario Works and children services
- All Ontario Works and children services offices are closed on Monday, May 20.
Simcoe County Museum
- The museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
- For information on what’s happening at the museum, visit museum.simcoe.ca.
Simcoe County Archives
- The archives is closed on Monday, May 20.
