Hundreds of Alectra customers in Barrie are without power in the city's northeast end.
The power utility says the outage is affecting around 1,370 homes and businesses as 11:30 a.m., Friday.
The affected area includes parts of Cheltenham Road, Dunsmore Lane, Georgian Drive, JC Massie Way, Johnson Street, Penetanguishene Road, Quarry Ridge Road, and Sydenham Wells.
Crews are investigating to determine the source of the problem.
The estimated time of restoration is between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
