A road closure on Little Avenue in Barrie's south end has been extended until Tuesday afternoon "due to unforeseen circumstances."
The road closure was initially anticipated to be in place until this evening at 6 p.m., but will now remain in effect until Tuesday, Feb. 21 around 4 p.m., according to the city.
Little Avenue is closed from Garden Drive and Huronia Road to repair a watermain and complete associated road work in the area. No through traffic is permitted.

Little Avenue – Huronia Road – Big Bay Point Road – Bayview Drive – Little Avenue
Little Avenue – Bayview Drive – Burton Avenue – Huronia Road – Little Avenue
