A section of Little Avenue in Barrie's south end will be closed overnight and into Friday evening to repair a watermain.
The city's water department and its sub-contractors require an emergency full road closure between Garden Drive and Huronia Road, tentatively from 4:30 p.m. today (Feb. 16) until around 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17.
No through traffic will be permitted.
Detour routes in effect:
Little Avenue – Huronia Road – Big Bay Point Road – Bayview Drive – Little Avenue
Little Avenue – Bayview Drive – Burton Avenue – Huronia Road – Little Avenue
