Public board confirms COVID case at Pine River in Angus

The Simcoe County District School Board has confirmed another case of COVID-19 in one of its schools.

Pine River Elementary School in Angus, which is located on Brian Ave., has one confirmed case of COVID-19 in an individual. It's not known if the individual is a student, teacher or employee.

One classroom has been closed, but the school remains open.

This case marks the 16th case of COVID-19 in a school in Simcoe County, the seventh with the public board.

Of the 16 cases, six have recovered and classrooms reopened.
