Youth charged after tires slashed on up to 70 vehicles overnight

Incidents happened in the area of Penetang, Queen and St. Vincent streets

A lot of people in the city's east end woke up this morning with slashed tires on their vehicles.

According to Barrie police, officers are investigating up to 70 incidents of mischief that happened overnight in the area of Penetang, Queen and St. Vincent streets.

A 12-year-old youth has been charged and additional charges are pending, police say.
