The Barrie Police Traffic Service is investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, just after 11 a.m. on Stunden Lane in the City of Barrie.
The motor vehicle left the roadway and ended up in a nearby stormwater management pond. The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old woman from Barrie, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving.
The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on Oct. 22, 2018.
The investigation is ongoing.
