Emergency officials are on the scene of a fire believed to have occurred in a Barrie homeless encampment.
"We received a call shortly after 9 a.m. for a fire at a location near 79 Anne St. (S.)," said Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon.
Leon said there are reports of two people suffering injuries.
The extent of the victims' injuries is unknown.
Police are assisting firefighters on the scene.
