BRADFORD - On Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, South Simcoe Police Service officers investigated two daytime residential break-ins in Bradford. One home was entered on Colborne Street, the second on Magani Avenue.

In each case, entry was gained by cutting a screen on a ground floor window that was not closed. A quantity of jewellery was taken from one home, credit cards from the other.

Anyone with information is asked to call the South Simcoe Police Service or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Homeowners are reminded that most burglaries occur during the day when no one is home. The South Simcoe Police Service recommends that you secure all windows and doors before leaving home. An alarm system may deter thieves. Call 9-1-1 if you see suspicious activity in your neighbourhood.
