Huronia West OPP officers charged 18 people with stunt driving on the weekend.
The vehicles were being driven between 150 and 168 km/h, according to a news release.
Each driver received a 30-day licence suspension, and the vehicles will be impounded for 14 days.
“Drivers and members of the public are reminded to respect our communities, comply with all laws, and not jeopardize the safety of our citizens or our neighbourhoods with risky, illegal, and dangerous actions,” the release stated.
Huronia West OPP's coverage area includes Springwater Township, Wasaga Beach and Clearview Township.
