INNISFIL - On Monday, February 15, 2016, just around the lunch hour, South Simcoe Police were called to the ONroute Centre, located on southbound Highway 400 in Innisfil. A truck driver told the officer that 4 tires and rims had been stolen from his unlocked tractor trailer while it was parked there between Friday evening and Monday morning.

Officers are reviewing video surveillance of the parking area, but ask that anyone who saw any suspicious activity at the ONroute over the weekend to call South Simcoe Police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Breach of Undertaking

INNISFIL - In the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 16, 2016, South Simcoe Police were called to an Alcona home, regarding an adult male being drunk and disruptive in his father's home. As officers approached the area, they spotted the man in a taxi nearby. The taxi was stopped and the occupants questioned. The suspect, who is on a recognizance from October for Assault, Causing a Disturbance and Assault Police, is forbidden to contact his mother, who was also a passenger in the taxi. The 23 year old Innisfil man was held in custody for a bail hearing on a charge of Fail To Comply.

Fail To Remain Collision

BRADFORD - On Monday, February 15, 2016, around 7:30 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a minor collision at Bridge Street and Pumphouse Road in Bradford. One of the vehicles, a red Chevrolet Silverado pickup, did not stop when the collision occurred. Officers would like to speak to the driver of the pick up, or anyone else who may have witnessed the crash.
