On the 19th of February 2016 at approximately 6:20 p.m., Barrie Police attended a north end address in regards to a domestic incident. This was the second call to the same address on the 19th of February in regards to the same couple.

On the 19th of February 2016 at approximately 6:20 p.m., Barrie Police attended a north end address in regards to a domestic incident.  This was the second call to the same address on the 19th of February in regards to the same couple.  Upon arrival, Police found a male victim with a lacerated finger.  Officers learned through their investigation that the male's finger was bitten by his spouse, a 22-year-old female.  Subsequently the female party was arrested for assault cause bodily harm.  Further investigation revealed that the accused had a condition of a Court imposed recognizance to reside with her surety at another address.  The accused was in breach of this condition.  The accused was further charged with breach of recognizance and held at the Barrie Police Headquarters pending a bail hearing.

On the 19th of February 2016 at approximately 6 p.m., Barrie Police were on general patrol in a south end waterfront park when they observed a male party in a vehicle matching a suspect vehicle from a recent theft of gas incident.  Officers confirmed the identity of the driver, confirmed that there was a warrant in the first instance for the arrest of the accused for theft under $5,000.  Subsequently a 21 year old Barrie man was arrested on the outstanding warrant and held pending a bail hearing.
