Police seek assistance locating missing mother and son (update: found)

ORILLIA - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have located Angela Jewell and Andre Lopez-Jewell in the Toronto area and as a result, they are no longer missing.

The OPP wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance in determining the whereabouts of these two people.

TINY TOWNSHIP - Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the public's help in locating Angela Jewell, 48 years old and her son Andre Lopez-Jewell, 12 years old from Toronto, Ont.

The two were last seen at approximately 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 in the Woodland Beach area in Tiny Township, Ont.

Angela Jewell is described as 5'7", 160 lbs, medium build, short wavy brown hair and hazel eyes. Andre Lopez-Jewell is described as 5'5", thin build, blue eyes, with dirty blonde short hair on the sides and longer in the front.

The two were wearing bathing suits when last seen but may have changed clothing.
