BARRIE POLICE SERVICE

The Barrie Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public with regards to a robbery investigation.
On Monday, May 27, 2019 at approximately 2:35 p.m. a male suspect entered the RBC Royal Bank located at 53 Bayfield St. in the City of Barrie. The suspect approached the teller and made a demand for cash. No weapons were seen and an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency was obtained. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, white
- 5’10” tall with a thin build
- mid-20s
- Short, dirty-blonde hair
- Wearing a black baseball hat with a large white logo that included a star, a red hooded sweatshirt with a large logo on the front, blue jeans, black running shoes, and large sunglasses with gold frames
The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot heading towards Collier Street.
