South Simcoe police are looking for a suspect following a theft from a jewelry store at Tanger Outlets Cookstown on March 18.
At about 3 p.m., police say a man entered the store, took an item from a display case, put it in his pocket, and left without paying.
The stolen item was worth about $5,000.
Police have released security camera images and are looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who they say might have been wearing a prosthetic nose.
