Police looking for witnesses in Bradford shooting investigation

The South Simcoe Police Service is appealing for witnesses, information and video footage after a shooting incident last evening in Bradford.

On Wednesday, June 8, at approximately 6:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Langford Boulevard and Line 8 for reports of two vehicles driving into each other and shots being fired.

One of the vehicles lost control and crashed into a building on Dissette Street. Three males inside fled on foot and were located nearby by police. The second vehicle fled the scene. Officers including the K9 and Forensic Identification units attended the scene.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing to determine a motive, locate the second vehicle and identify its occupants.

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and security camera/dash camera footage of the incident. Anyone who can assist police is asked to contact Det. Irwin at [email protected].
