Police looking for guy with lunch box full of Claritin

Barrie Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male shoplifter who was captured on camera loading up his goods and then darting.

On Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018 at approximately 12 p.m., the lone male entered Shoppers Drug Mart located at 420 Essa Rd. in the City of Barrie. The male was observed on store security footage taking over $200.00 of Claritin allergy medication and placing it into a blue lunch box he was carrying. The male was seen walking past all final points of sale, exiting the store leaving with no intention of paying.

  • Wearing a black hoodie with a white NY logo on the front

Although the video surveillance is not very clear, investigators are hoping the distinguishable logo on the sweatshirt will help aid in identifying this suspect. Anyone who may have information is asked to please contact Constable C.
