Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a sudden death incident in Alliston, New Tecumseth.
On April 22, 2022, at approximately 10:45 a.m., police responded to a report of an unresponsive person. Paramedics along with New Tecumseth Fire were also on scene.
The person was pronounced deceased. Their Identification is being withheld at this time as the investigation continues.
Investigators would like to assure the public that there is no concern for public safety.
The Nottawasaga Detachment is continuing the investigation, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and Central Region Forensic Identification Services.
