Barrie police were called to an Edgehill Drive apartment building Sunday evening.

There were minor injuries but no charges laid following incidents on Edgehill Drive in Barrie, Sunday evening.

City police received a 6:30 p.m. call about a disturbance at an apartment building located at 90 Edgehill Dr., near the corner of Anne Street North.

“We determined when we arrived that there had been a disagreement,” said Jennett Mays, corporate communications co-ordinator with Barrie Police Service.

“There were only minor injuries and because of the conflicting information and the fact that those involved didn’t wish to proceed, nothing (no charges) came of it," she added.

Paramedics took at least one person to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, but just as a precaution, Mays said.

“We have to respond based on what the call comes in as,” she said of the disturbance call, “but in the end there were no charges. Those involved didn’t wish to proceed and it looks like just minor injuries.”
