Barrie police say a man wanted in connection to a downtown assault has turned himself in.
A man was assaulted on Dunlop Street, west of Owen Street, shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 10.
Police say the identity of the accused was confirmed by a Barrie police officer and the suspect surrendered to police on Saturday.
The 29-year-old man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie at a later date.
