On Sunday, Oct. 23 2016 at approximately 1 a.m., police attended to the area of Penetang and Berczy Street regarding an (allegedly) intoxicated male who was causing damage to vehicles on the street.
Police located the male damaging a real estate sign in the area Penetang and Dundonald Street.
When the male observed police, he attempted to run away but was later located following a brief K9 track and placed under arrest.
Upon further investigation, police charged the accused with four counts of mischief under $5,000.
The accused was transported to the Barrie Police and held pending a bail hearing.
