The Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance following an early morning street robbery, which occurred just before 7 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018.

The victim had been walking on Mary Street, south of Dunlop Street, in the City of Barrie, when he was attacked by a woman. The suspect stabbed the victim in the lower leg, robbed him of his personal belongings, and fled the area on foot. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as;

  • Female, white
  • 5’5” – 5’6”
  • Facial complexion described as having pockmarks/facial holes
  • Wearing a red hoodie and jeans.
