On May 19, 2021 at approximately 3:30 a.m. members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded, with fire and EMS, to a serious single motor vehicle collision on Baldwick [Lane] in Utopia.
The vehicle was carrying three occupants when it left the roadway and rolled over. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle as a result of the collision. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Toronto hospital by air. The two passengers were treated locally with only minor injuries.
OPP Traffic Collision Investigators remain at the scene examining the factors surrounding the collision. A cause of the collision has not yet been determined and the investigation is ongoing.
