Barrie Police Service is looking to identify a male after a theft of beer from a local grocery store entering into the long weekend. 

On Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at approximately 4:40 p.m. a lone male entered Zehrs locateed at 11 Bryne Dr. in the City of Barrie. 

He immediately took his cart to aisle #5 and loaded a six pack of Budweiser Beer tall cans, six tall cans of Molson Canadian, six tall cans of Heineken and six tall cans of Coors light totaling over $50 of beer in his cart. He immediately made his way to the self checkout where he did not stop to pay. He was approached by a loss prevention officer outside the store, however he fled before he could be apprehended.

  • Male, white
  • 6' tall and average build
  • Short brown hair
  • Blue Jay tattoo left forearm
  • Wearing Blue Jays baseball cap, plaid short sleeved button shirt, jeans, and blue sneakers
