On August 14, 2017 in the evening hours, Midland Police investigated a complaint that a woman had coffee thrown at her while she was in an argument with another woman.
Both were having an argument over access to an apartment complex when it escalated to the suspect throwing a cup of coffee she was holding at the other woman. As a result of this incident, the suspect has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
She was later released on a promise to appear and is required to attend Midland Court of Justice on September 14, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
Charge – assault with a weapon s. 267(a) C.C.
Charged – Carmen Desroches, 56 years of age, Midland, ON
