UPDATE #4 - This afternoon, at approximately 2:22 p.m., the OPP recovered 17-year-old Salar Alizadeli of North York. He was recovered from the south shore of Sturgeon Lake.
UPDATE #3 - Since October 1, 2017 OPP resources have been searching Sturgeon Lake - one victim has been recovered, however one person is still missing. The search by the OPP's USRU has been suspended.

UPDATE #2 - The deceased person recovered from Sturgeon Lake on Sunday Oct. 1, 2017 has been identified as 18-year-old Mohammadmehdi Ahmadi of North York. The OPP's USRU team is on location continuing to search for one missing person.
