Barrie police seeking help to nab Butter Ripple liquor bandit

Man allegedly concealed bottle in his clothing and left store without paying, police say

This unidentified male entered the LCBO on Mary Street on Dec. 19 and left with a bottle of butter ripple liquor - without paying.

On Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, the unidentified male entered the LCBO located at 55 Mary St. at approximately 6:45 p.m. He decided to satisfy his sugar craving and his alcohol craving with a bottle of Butter Ripple liquor.

Unfortunately, [it is alleged that] he concealed the bottle in his clothing and left the store without making any attempts to pay.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, black
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black jacket, a black toque with grey fur-trimmed ear flaps and brim, grey sweat pants and brown boots
