After waiting 22 months to hit the diamond again, tonight's Barrie Baycats home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs to open the 2021 Intercounty Baseball League season has been postponed due to rain.
The game versus Toronto has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m., at Coates Stadium in Midhurst.
The Barrie team's home-opener will now take place Thursday, July 15 at 7:30 p.m., against the Hamilton Cardinals.
