The Guelph Royals travel to London tonight to decide who finishes in first place in the Intercounty Baseball League regular season.

The London Majors beat the Toronto Maple Leafs, 14-4, Tuesday night in Toronto to earn the right to host the sudden-death game to determine who gets first, after both finished the regular season with identical 31-11 records.

The Welland Jackfish also had a 31-11 record on the season, but finished third because of the league tie-breaking formula.

No matter what happens Wednesday, Guelph will open the best-of-five quarter finals at Hastings Stadium on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The winner of Wednesday night's game in London will play eighth-place Brantford in the first round, while the loser of Wednesday's game will play the Hamilton Cardinals.

Guelph will host Game 1 Saturday and Game 3 on Tuesday. Game 2, no matter who the opponent is, will likely be played Monday night.

The Barrie Baycats will play the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round. The series schedule has not been finalized.
