The Barrie Colts dropped a 7-2 decision to the Ottawa 67's this afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action in the nation's capital.

Colt captain Jason Willms opened the scoring near the midway mark of the first period.

Ottawa's Yanic Crete and Joseph Garreffa both scored to put the 67's up 2-1 before Willms scored again to take a 2-2 tie into the dressing room at the first intermission.

But it was all Ottawa from there.

Mitchell Hoelscher, Austen Keating, Jack Quinn (2) and Marco Rossi all found the back of the net en route to a 7-2 victory.

It was also a penalty-filled game, including Luke Bignell getting hit with an instigator penalty late in the second period.

Barrie's Arturs Silovs allowed seven goals on 40 shots, while Ottawa's Andree Cedrick stopped 25 of 27 shots.
