The Barrie Baycats have announced a new partnership with 4Hundred Source for Sports in Barrie to be the exclusive fan merchandise provider of the Barrie Baycats of the Intercounty Baseball League.
As a part of this partnership, the 4Hundred Source for Sports will embellish, ship and maintain the shopbaycats.com website all year round, as well as host Baycats merch at their physical location at 70 Barrie View Dr., in south Barrie, being the first storefront to carry official Baycats merchandise. Merchandise included will be jerseys, hoodies, T-shirts, hats, outerwear and new to the Baycats merch collection and souvenirs.
When the new merch line and the online shop were released in 2020, president Josh Matlow had a vision. Other than a few items sold only at the ballpark in previous years, the Baycats were able to expand their merch collection for the fans to purchase online for the first time in the organization’s history.
With the new partnership, it will allow both a new line of merchandise to be developed, as well as the opportunity for the Baycats to align with top-quality apparel brands such as Adidas, Nike and Under Armour.
The Baycats will also be bringing back the fitted New Era hats that the players wear for fans to purchase starting in the spring of 2023.
Matlow was excited to speak about the announced partnership.
“We are beyond excited to partner with the 4Hundred Source for Sports in Barrie. We feel that with the great reputation and brand of the Source for Sports group, it will allow us to align our brand with one of the big names in the sports world. We also feel that their passion for sports and supporting local sports is extremely fitting for our long-term plans. Great guys, big community supporters and locally owned is a huge bonus for us as well.”
4Hundred Source for Sports is a local sporting goods store specializing in sports equipment and team apparel. Locally owned and operated, they have proudly been serving Barrie and its surrounding areas since 2016.

The seven-time IBL champions have been synonymous with baseball in Simcoe County since 2001.
