NEWMARKET – Upper Canada Mall will host a March Break Job Fair Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily to support retailers seeking to fill more than 70 full time and part time positions in wide range of management, store clerk, guest services and building operations roles.
Upper Canada retailers will feature signage highlighting whether they are participants in the job fair and potential candidates can apply and interview for available roles at each respective store. The job fair presents an opportunity for students seeking a spring or summer job or those who have recently finished school.
“We are thrilled to welcome shoppers back to Upper Canada and have already seen an increase in visits over the past few weeks,” said Christine Seidman, Marketing Manager, Upper Canada “Historically, March Break has always been a busy time for us, and we saw it as an opportunity to connect directly with students who are searching for opportunities while supporting our retailers.”

As restrictions begin to lift following two years of uncertainties, closures, reduced hours and capacity restrictions due to the pandemic, in-person shopping has increased in 2022. As of April 4, Upper Canada will be extending operating hours to Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to better meet the needs of shoppers.
