Tiffin Street is closed again today between Innisfil Street and Essa Road for pipe repairs.
The City of Barrie water department and its sub-contractors require an emergency full road closure tentatively from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. to repair a water service.
The road was closed June 2 for similar work.
Access for residents and businesses within the closure today will be maintained and emergency services will have access to respond within the closure, but not to travel through it.
The roadway is closed to buses.
A paid-duty officer shall be on site throughout the closure.
Detour route in effect: Tiffin Street – Innisfil Street – Essa Road – Tiffin Street.
