The Township of Springwater is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Bedard as director of finance.
Bringing over 10 years of expertise in municipal finance, director Bedard joins the Township of Springwater from his previous role as director of finance at the Township of Minden Hills.
Director Bedard holds a bachelor of commerce degree with a specialization in accounting and public management. Additionally, he is accredited as a certified municipal revenue professional and is currently pursuing certification as a chartered professional accountant, with aspirations to complete his designation by year end.
“Springwater is pleased to welcome Greg Bedard as our new director of finance,” said Jeff Schmidt, chief administrative officer. “With his experience in municipal finance and dedication to excellence, we are confident that he will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategies and fiscal goals of the municipality.”

Director Bedard will be responsible for overseeing the customer service and financial management of the township in his new role.
