A section of Miller Drive in Barrie's west end will be closed throughout most of the day on Thursday, so area residents might want to give themselves a little extra time in the morning.
The city's operations department requires an emergency full road closure between Dunlop Street and Sproule Drive, tentatively from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., to repair sanitary infrastructure.
Residents and emergency services will have access within the closure, but will not be able to travel through it.
Detour route in effect: Dunlop Street – Ferndale Drive – Edgehill Drive – Miller Drive.
