A section of Codrington Street in Barrie's north end is expected to be closed Friday until about 4 p.m.
The city's Water Operations department and its sub-contractors required a full closure of the street between Albert Street and Dundonald Street in order to repair a water service.
Access for residents within the closure is being maintained and emergency services will have access to respond within the closure, but not to travel through it. That section of road will also not have city bus service during this time.
