The Barrie Police Service is seeking witnesses to assist with identifying a male suspect following a theft at Cabela’s located at 50 Concert Way, in the City of Barrie.
On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at 3:40 p.m., video surveillance captured a male removing a Garmin GPS from its packaging and then concealing it beneath his shirt.
The male quickly exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise, and was captured fleeing the area in a blue four-door sedan.
This investigation is ongoing.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, white
- Approximately 5’8”
- Slim build, brown hair and has a moustache and light beard
- Wearing a black toque with a white stripe, scarf, green jacket, striped shirt, dark pants and shoes.
