Nightly road closures will be in place on Minet's Point Road from Lakeshore Drive/Hurst Drive to Yonge Street beginning tonight for resurfacing work.

Additionally, the intersection of Minet's Point Road, Lakeshore Drive and Hurst Drive will also be closed.

The city says this closure is necessary to complete asphalt road resurfacing work, which is being done by GIP Paving and its subcontractors, who've been contracted by the city.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances and weather delays, the scheduled work will take place from Monday, June 12 to Wednesday, June 14, 2023, between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.," according to the city.

The roadway will be open during the day. Access to businesses within the closure area will be maintained throughout the duration of the project, and emergency services will have continued access within and through the closure.

However, the roadway will be closed to buses during this period.
