Minister meets with May Court Club of Barrie

Federal Minister of Families, Children and Social Development Karina Gould has been tasked with creating a national school food program.

As part of her research, she is meeting with different organizations that have experience in supporting schools with their nutrition needs.

Since 2014, the volunteers of the May Court Club of Barrie have raised, purchased and distributed $81,000 worth of snacks to an average of 28 public and Catholic schools annually in the Barrie area.
