NEWS RELEASE
ANN HOGGARTH, MPP BARRIE

Ann Hoggarth kicked off her re-election campaign on Tuesday evening alongside dozens of enthusiastic supporters at the official opening of her headquarters in south Barrie.

“The Liberal government is delivering on our plan to build a better Ontario, and because of the work we’ve done, so far, this plan is already directly benefiting people right here in Barrie and Innisfil,” Hoggarth told supporters in her campaign launch speech that highlighted local investments in healthcare and childcare, support for local businesses, better services for seniors, expanded transit, new schools and a higher minimum wage.

Hoggarth, a teacher and lifelong Barrie resident who has represented the city as its MPP for the past four years, also spoke about how government initiatives such as free tuition, free preschool childcare and free prescription drug coverage for youth and seniors are making a big difference in the lives of millions of Ontarians.

“What the Doug Ford Conservatives fail to realize is that, as our economy evolves and our community grows, we need to make choices that will improve the lives of young people, families and seniors,” she said. “Now is not the time for cuts to the essential services and programs the people of Ontario hold so dear.”

The Ann Hoggarth Barrie-Innisfil campaign office is located at 431 Bayview Dr., Unit 4. Anyone wishing to volunteer is encouraged to stop by the campaign office or send an email to [email protected].
