The sounds of the season resonated through Collier Street United Church sanctuary on Sunday afternoon.
The fourth annual Christmas Carol Sing-Along took place at the church this weekend, bringing together young and old in a Christmas celebration.
“It’s important for the community. It’s an outreach for some people who maybe can’t afford to go to a concert, and they can come in and enjoy an afternoon or carols,” said Sharon Saint, interim choir director.
“We invite people in from the community, and there’s a free will offering,” said Saint.
This month, all free will offerings given to the church will be going to the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
The regular choir members were accompanied by guest soloists and a harmonica group.
