Shop downtown Barrie this holiday season and enjoy free parking in all on-street spaces and in the Chase McEachern parking lot (located near Meridian Square) for the first two hours throughout the month of December.
On-street parking is limited to a two-hour maximum, while additional hours at the Chase McEachern lot can be purchased using the pay and display machine. Two hours of free parking is in effect from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, 2020.
Parking on-street and in downtown municipal lots is free after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. Please note the Spirit Catcher Lot, North Marina Lot and Lakeshore Lot are considered Waterfront Parking Lots and parking is enforced 24/7, excluding statutory holidays.
