After being closed for several months, Fairview Road has been reopened for traffic.
The road had been closed since June 3 due to ongoing construction of the Harvie Road-Big Bay Point Road bridge over Highway 400.
The bridge project will reduce traffic congestion and support growth in Barrie's south end by connecting Harvie Road to Big Bay Point Road. The crossing is expected to open to traffic in the fall of 2020.
